Community Chest

 Upcher Community Partnership are pleased to announce the launch of the new Community Chest Small Grants Fund. Organisations and groups in the Upcher area are invited to apply for a grant up to a maximum of £250, this is required to be match funded and to fit the Upcher criteria. The first appraisal panel meet on the 17th  September 2009 and agreed to approve two of the applications this was ratified by the Upcher Community Chest Board on the 5th OCtober.

The Sheringham Chess club was awarded £250 to help with new equipment and to encourage more members and to expand the area of competition.

The Sheringham Christmas Lights Committee were awarded £250 to go towards the organisation and equipment for the Sheringham Christmas Lights switch on event on 28th November 2009.
