Pretty Corner Woods

Pretty Corner Woods situated on the outskirts of Sheringham town is an unspoilt area of outstanding natural Woodland. This unusual hilly area gives the woodland its unique character and creates an interesting area to walk and explore.

The woods are jointly owned by North Norfolk district Council, Sheringham Town Council and the Woodland Trust, who manage the whole area.

The project for Pretty Corner Woods is to make the area more accessible with improvements to the pathways, with improved seating, and a possible viewing platform over the town of Sheringham and reaching seaviews.

A public consultation will take place at the Upcher Community Partnership shop in Sheringham over a period in May to gather views from the locals and visitors as to how they would like to see the Woodland in the future, with possible provision of mountain bike tracks and orienteering routes. The future of this outstandingly beautiful area is secure and the way forward is now in the publics hands.

The consultation has now taken place and the findings passed to the Woodland Trust.
