Salthouse
Salthouse village sits between the ridge of Salthouse heath and the salt marshes towards the sea. The village occupies a quiet position ideal for birdwatchers and peaceful relaxation while feeding the ducks and swans on the popular pond. The beach is pebbles which form a bank, the only protection for the villages against the winds and 
tides. The village boasts a shop, a fine pub, Cookies Crab shop, and the impressive 15th Century St Nicholas Church nestled between the village and the ridge. Salthouse heath has many walks and the heath is managed by the Salthouse Heath Trustees and protects the many varieties of flora and fauna.
