Community Bus Scheme in your Area.
Upcher is promoting the North Walsham Area Community Transport Association Scheme. This works similar to the Dial-a-ride bus service which was withdrawn by Age Concern. The area covered is from Cromer, to Aylsham around to Dereham and Cley. Information for this service is available from the Upcher Office, 3, Station Road, Sheringham.

Green Build 2010
After another hugely successful event in 2009 'Green Build' will be returning to Felbrigg Hall on the 11th and 12th of September 2010. 'Green Build' is an anuual event run by North Norfolk District Council which aims to provide local residents with information an advice relating to 'greener', and more sustainable ways of living. The event will have a bigger range of exhibitors, speakers and demonstrators than ever before, with loads of green technologies and techniques on show ranging from traditional building methods to the latest renewable technologies. In addition to this there will be a wide range of advice available in everthing from energy efficencyto 'growing your own'. Speakers will be covering the latest developments such as the 'Feed in Tariff, clean energy cashback scheme, and the ever-popular food court will be returning, as well as a local farmers market. Add to this a wide range of entertainment for kids and adults alike - new this year are the Nutmeg Pupper Theatre and Bewilderwood-and Green Build is guaranteed to be a great day out for all.

The RSPCA Young Photographer Awards
The RSPCA young Photographer Awards (YPA) is the only national animal photography competition for under-19's that is FREEE and easy to enter.
There are four catorgories to enter:
- Under 12 yrs
- 12-18yrs
- Pet Personalities
- The Portfolio Prize
There are some fantastic prizes to be win including a weekend photography break with top wildlife photographer Danny Green and an exclusive behind-the-scenes photoshoot at an RSPCA centre. Plus an invite to an awards ceremony at the Tower of London in December with TV presenter Matt Baker hosting the event.
